If you already know the planning application number or the full address for the property/site in question, it may useful for you to check on our Planning Search facility online to see if the information you need is already available.
If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can contact the Planning Department via email or post to request the information, free of charge. Please quote the reference and address when querying and our team will be happy to provide the documents you require.

We aim to respond to your queries within 5 working days.
If you do not have the full address and planning reference number for the property/site you wish to enquire, you can submit a formal Planning History Search online. For us to help you find the right address, you must include a plan that clearly identifies the property or site (this can be a screenshot taken from a map, it doesn’t need to be an official document) with as much information you can provide so that we can narrow down our search. Due to the extra work involved to obtain documents where the site/property address and reference is not known, this is a chargeable service with a fee of £35.
