The council has installed cameras in the chamber at the Civic Centre in Pershore to broadcast planning, executive board and council meetings on a regular basis. Live and recorded meetings will be available.
What is a livestream?
Livestreaming is the broadcast of video and audio over the internet – put simply it is like watching TV but through an internet connection. By livestreaming meetings, the council aims to provide local residents who cannot attend meetings with an opportunity to play a part in the democratic process, and to get involved in the decisions affecting their lives.

Meetings held in the Council Chamber may be webcast and recorded for public viewing and Member training purposes.
By entering the Chamber, you are deemed to give your consent to being filmed, and to the possible use of your image and voice in these recordings. The public gallery is generally not filmed, however, some public areas within the Chamber may fall within camera view. Visitors should therefore be aware that they may still appear in the recorded footage.
Clear signage is displayed at the entrance to all meetings where webcasting and recording are taking place.
Recordings of Council meetings are retained and made available online for one year in line with the Council’s data retention policy.
