Residents' survey 2026 now open

Residents across Wychavon are being invited to help shape future council services by taking part in the Residents' Survey 2026.

Previous Residents' Surveys have helped shape council decisions and investment. Residents have highlighted priorities including street cleaning, Council Tax, leisure facilities, and Riverside Shopping Centre, helping inform decisions about services and investment across the district.

The survey will help the council understand what matters most to local people and inform future decisions on a wide range of services, from waste and recycling to parks, leisure facilities, and community safety. Questions also cover topics including street cleaning, planning, housing support, public toilets, and car parks. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete, and it closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 1 November 2026.

Everyone who completes the survey can choose to enter a prize draw to win one of four £100 vouchers to spend with an independent Wychavon-based business of their choice.

With Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) proposals still under consideration by the Government, the council is keen to understand residents' priorities and ensure it continues providing the best possible services for as long as it remains responsible for them. The results will help identify where services are working well and where further improvements may be needed.

Cllr Richard Morris, Leader of Wychavon District Council, said: "We want to hear from as many residents as possible because your views help shape the decisions we make and the services we provide. Whether it's your thoughts on your local area, waste and recycling, community safety or leisure facilities, every response helps us build a clearer picture of what matters most to the people who live here. The survey only takes around 10 minutes to complete, but the feedback it provides is incredibly valuable."
