Droitwich Spa’s Vines Park now shines brighter than ever, thanks to a new lighting scheme that elevates one of the town’s key attractions.
Solar-powered lights illuminate the pathways, enhancing the park's beauty and inviting evening strolls.
This inspiring initiative, propelled by the Droitwich Spa Place Board and funded by Wychavon’s share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Solar lights were also installed in Droitwich Spa’s Lido Park in October 2024, and this installation has since been extended around the tennis court and up to the cricket club.
Cllr Richard Morris, Executive Board Member for Economic Growth and Tourism at Wychavon, said, “The new lighting is a fantastic addition to Droitwich Spa, creating a safe and beautiful atmosphere that complements the park. They really are something that must be seen.”
Matt Nicol, Chair of the Droitwich Spa Place Board, remarked, “The Droitwich Spa parks are a major draw, attracting many visitors to the town and serving as popular daytime destinations. This new light trail has enhanced the appeal and visitor experience during the evening as well, making the park feel even safer and more inviting.”
