Electoral Register
The Register of Electors (also called the electoral register or electoral roll) contains the names and addresses of everyone registered to vote in Wychavon.
There are two versions of the electoral register:
1. The full register that's used for election purposes such as making sure only eligible people can vote, and for other limited purposes specified in law, such as detecting crime, calling people for jury service and checking credit applications.
You must be on the electoral register to be able to vote, and if you are not on it you may have difficulty getting certain types of credit such as mobile phone contracts.
2. The open register (sometimes called the edited register) is available to anyone who wants to buy a copy. For example, it is used by businesses and charities to confirm name and address details.

Viewing the electoral register
The full register of electors is a public document. It can only be inspected under supervision at our office in Pershore. Only handwritten notes of its contents are allowed. By law, the details on the full register are not allowed to be used for direct marketing purposes.
You cannot search the register by elector name. It is published alphabetically in address order within polling districts. We can advise you which polling districts contain certain streets.
The full register is supplied to political parties, elected representatives and election candidates, law enforcement agencies, credit reference agencies, and other statutory bodies. A full list of those entitled to the full register is available on the Electoral Commission.
