The Wychavon Growth Programme is a comprehensive programme of district wide economic investment initiatives, focusing on business support; tourism and events; and hospitality and skills.
It is a £1.7m programme, funded by Wychavon District Council, delivering support until March 2028.
The programme comprises:

Inward Investment
Assisting businesses already located in the District with their growth plans, as well as companies considering new investment or relocation into the District.

Wychavon Growth Fund
Grants that help businesses grow - whether through investing in new equipment, expanding facilities, creating new jobs, or improving productivity.

Apprenticeship Employer Support
Grants to support businesses with the costs associated with employing and apprentice and bursaries to help apprentices accessing their employment location.

Hospitality Sector Tailored Support
A suite of measures designed to support a key sector in Wychavon’s economy.

Town Centre Investment Plans
In 2022 the council launched an Investment Prospectus for each of the towns, helping them adapt to changes expected over the next 20 years. The documents will look to assist in securing future investment and shape the place-making agenda.

Vale and Spa Events Support
Providing financial and practical support to a range of events and festivals across the district with the aim of bringing in additional visitors to boost the local economy. The latest events can be found on the Worcestershire’s Vale & Spa website.

Wychavon Growth Hub
Funding dedicated business advisors to work with organisations of any size or sector to navigate the business support landscape by bringing all the available support into one place.

BetaDan
Funding for Wychavon tech-based businesses to access a revolving programme of workshops and a two-month Incubate programme for tech start-ups.
