As a parent what should you look for in a sports coach?
A Sports Coach is a qualified National Governing Body coach with relevant experience, who is committed to continuous professional development and has been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.
They should be able to
- Coach young people providing a high-quality, enjoyable experience
- Develop the Fundamentals (Agility, Balance, Co-ordination) and sports skills across a number of physical activities and sports.
- Help to keep young people in sport and providing guidance on progression opportunities.
